Tuscan Pavilion

The pavilion project could be located on the island in St. Mary’s Lake, provided it was a memorial to Knute Rockne. In order to preserve the natural beauty of the undeveloped island yet render it accessible to the public, the Pavilion developed into a pedestrian bridge. The central massing affords the public benches and a space to view the natural beauty of the lakes, as the bridge progresses to the Rockne Memorial.
