After completing a group urban design project, which saw the redesigning of Rione Ponte in Rome, the studio was tasked individually with developing a palazzo for a designated block from the urban design. The realized palazzo inherited the highly angled plot of the urban fabric and created the challenge to design within the parameters of the “existing” site. Shops and a courtyard occupy the ground floor and apartments occupy the remaining floors.
