After studying the Palazzo type in the Italian, French, English and American context, this project tasked designing a Boston History Museum using the vocabulary of the Palazzo type. The site plan yielded an irregular shape in which the project had to adhere to when possible. The program mandated a courtyard and exhibition room for a statue of Abigail Adams that had to be designed with the Corinthian Order.
